3. Fill out the Intake Form.
4. Select your curriculum in the Workshop Curriculum.

How much does it cost?
$2,500 USD per person for the 7-Day Retreat (all-inclusive, workshops, tours, meals, and lodging).
We are a non-profit organization/corporation. Our main mission is to provide a unique, immersive educational experience. There are two ways to approach funding a retreat: First, you can make a donation to our non-profit for the 7-day retreat. This would be tax deductible. Or, you can apply for one of our grants and get the full or partial tuition paid. Veterans, Artists, and Young Adults are encouraged to apply. If you are interested in applying for a grant, please click here.

How will I get to and from the Creative Retreat?
For those coming by air, we recommend flying into the Colorado Springs airport. We will pick you up from there and bring you to the workshop. We will also arrange to take you back to the airport at the end of the retreat. You are also welcome to drive to our homestead. There will be parking available. If students fly into Denver (DEN) International Airport they would have to take transportation to Colorado Springs for pickup. Please refer to the Intake Survey.

What should I bring to the Creative Retreat?
For the most part, we recommend bringing only what you would need if you were staying in a hotel in this area of the world. Depending on what workshops you are enrolling for, you may want to read about recommended clothing or accessories for those. Bring a variety of different weather clothes. It can be hot, then cold, very quickly here. It does rain in the summertime as well. We do recommend a hat, an umbrella, and a good coat (for nighttime).

What time does the Creative Retreat start and end?
This is a 7-day retreat. You will arrive on a Sunday and start the retreat activites on Monday. Retreat workshops/tours run from Monday to Sunday and you will leave the following Monday.
Each day we will start (formally) at around 7 am. That means we start with coffee or tea and a small keto-friendly breakfast (optional). At around 8 am we start the workshops or events for the day. We will end the day with a campfire or table talks at around 7 pm, after our last meal. We usually encourage people to be in their rooms by 8 pm. Rest and sleep is very important!

Sample Retreat Schedule - Arrival and Departure
What if I’m vegan/vegetarian or have food restrictions/allergies?
Please refer to the Intake Form. We try to accommodate your dietary preferences and or needs as best we can.

What if I’m living with an illness (mental or physical) or an existing medical condition?
Please refer to the Intake Form. We recommend that you ask your physician for their recommendation before attending a retreat.

Do you provide all of the food and lodging for the 7-day Creative Retreat?

Yes, we do.

Lodging. You will have a private room to sleep and have personal or private time in. You will have access to a full bathroom (off of your bedroom) - this includes a shower, toilet, and sink. If you have any questions, please contact us. For warm weather retreats, there is a camping area with shower/water, outhouse, and a firepit. Staying in a teepee or tent is optional.

Meals. For the seven day retreat, you will be eating a ketogenic lifestyle or diet. That means you will be eating a healthy, low carbohydrate, medium protein, and high-fat diet. Typically, we do some intermittent fasting (IF) and have a window of eating from 1 pm - 6 pm. That means you will eat a full meal around 1 pm and then a smaller meal at around 6 pm. If you need breakfast, we recommend joining us for coffee or tea in the morning and a small keto-friendly breakfast will be available. If you have been eating a Standard American Diet (SAD), we recommend that you modify your diet before attending a retreat and cut back on your carbohydrate intake. This will help with your adjustment to the retreat diet as well as the altitude. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Can I customize (pick and choose workshops/activities) my 7-day Creative Retreat experience?
Yes, you can. We want the experience customized for you. We can recommend certain workshops or activities based on your intake survey if you desire. You can select your desired workshops here and we will put a ciurriculum together based on those choices.

What if I'm not inteterested in eating the Ketogenic diet during the retreat (I want bring candy, alcohol, and junk food)?

The overall objective of the retreat includes both diet and activities that promote clear minded thinking and physical strength. If you don't participiate in the keto diet for the retreat, you may not fully benefit from the experience. Also, alcohol consumption can negatively affect people at higher altitudes, i.e. sickness, hangovers, etc.

What about cannabis (marijuana)?

While we offer workshops on growing and using cannabis as a medicine, you do not have to be exposed to, or involved with, the use of it if you choose. Also, cannabis is legal (21 years-old +) in the state of Colorado.

What happens in case of medical emergencies?

For minor issues, we have full first aid kits and medicine to treat those. For major or serious issues or accidents, we are four miles from the emergency services; paramedics, fire, and police. They are aware of our homestead and have complete access.
